Welcome to the Choir
Allegra Ladies’ Choir is a group of adult ladies who have come together with the joint purposes of discovering the joy of music, having fun, and assisting charitable causes.
Since forming in autumn 2011, the choir has flourished into a thriving, talented group of over 50 singers. We’re proud of our diverse membership base and welcome everyone who loves to sing, from complete beginners to experienced choristers. We have a large and varied concert programme which has been developed over the last few years. We have been delighted to perform at some of South Wales' most prestigious venues including St David's Hall and the Glanfa Stage in the Wales Millenium Centre but we are equally comfortable singing in beautiful local churches. To date, we have helped raise many thousands of pounds for charitable causes.
We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:15pm in the main hall, Llanwern High School. We are currently not recruiting, but if you are interested please go to the 'join us' page and leave an enquiry for the members' secretary to add you to the waiting list.
